Tanks for chemical products
Every day modern industry is facing a multiplicity of challenges not only during the processing of raw material but also when the storage of chemical products shall be recorded because this entails potential risks for people and environment. Avoiding dangers and making the storage completely safe is possible thanks to the tanks of Industria line by Telcom.
Aquarius Industria
The tanks of INDUSTRIA line are made with polymers additivated in neutral colour to resist to ultraviolet rays. Their particular coloration and their thickness make them eligible for the containment of chemical products different from water. They are 100% recyclable, guaranteed for the absence of cadmium and destined to above-ground installation.
Telcom S.p.A. certifies the suitability of the tank of Industria series for containing the chemical product whose the technical file has been provided.
Vase of expansion
The vase of expansion represents a fundamental component that guarantees the proper functioning of heating system. We are talking about a tank whose function is compensating dilation of water that warms up, avoiding the bust of the plant itself.
Open-ended vase of expansion for application in heating systems
The vase of expansion allows the water expanding in the process of warm up to find free rein without harming the plant. In fact, by passing from about 15°C to about 90°C, the volume of water increases of about 4% and the vase of expansion, with a sufficient capacity, operates by compensating such excess of volume.
Such systems, called open-ended vase of expansion plants, are used in buildings equipped with central heating. Here the expansion of water is connected with the atmosphere through a vent pipe and the volume is compensated in one or more tanks placed in highest point of the plant, linked to the boiler through a pipe upstream of circulation pump. The height of the vase of expansion determines consequently the water head at the entrance of previously mentioned pumps. The vase of expansion is linked to the aqueduct through a float valve to allow the reintegration of evaporated water in the vase itself or dispersed along the track. The float valve (plant off and cold) determines the minimum level of water.
The maximum level corresponds to the level of attack of the overflow pipe (plant at maximum working temperature). If the vase is underpowered, every variation of the temperature causes leakage of water that must be reintegrate and so properly treated.
