Powder material is introduced into the mould and it is made to rotate simultaneously on two perpendicular axes thanks to a mechanical arm in order to cover every interior surface of it during the fusion of the polymer.

The raw material in powder (generally linear polyethylene) during the first phase of warming, creates a foil on the interior surface whom the rest of the material, become gradually fluid, adhere to. Right after, the phase of warming will allow the manufacture to become monolithic, solid and resistant.

The cycle is completely automated: operations of loading/unloading remain responsibility of labor ensuring a 100% quality control on the rotomolded piece.

For the realization of the mould, different types of metals are used.

For the production of small or medium moulds for complex shape or artistic articles, aluminium casting is done, instead for greater measure articles or simple shapes plates of sheet steel are used, modelled by the expert hands of sheet metal workers

Rotational moulding technology is in constant development and the application fields increase, with higher number of articles that can be producted by exploiting technology and appropriate machineries.

Telcom, with rotational moulding, has found applications in the production of containers for the storage of food liquids, containers for chemical products, for the collection and eventual treatment of water, but furnishing elements for outdoor spaces, garden, home, office, hobby and complex technical applications also.
