Telcom invests in personnel
Telcom pays particular attention and puts determination on professional growth of its personnel, in fact during last years, various training courses have been performed on different themes: safety, personnel, marketing, CAD 2D and 3D, Office, Windows, plastic material, tax planning, management control, consolidated financial statements, tax warehouse, etc. Such training projects are confirmed in company’s policy that sees the enhancement of the personnel as strategic core of the company. Telcom has as goals: verifying the full compliance of the standards expected for in management system; detecting the actions of improvement implemented by the company, in order to guarantee to the employees the appropriate training and the necessary support to achieve the objectives assigned and to consolidate the individual professional growth; the atmosphere in which people work every day.
Working environment: the choice of dealing with the market
For a large-scale company the involvement and the enhancement of the personnel turn out to be determining; the achievement of excellent results depends highly on a good management of the resources, constantly informed on the business goals, the strategies and the organizational change. Improving the working environment, guaranteeing a positive atmosphere and of full cooperation has always been a primary goal for Telcom. The first step to recognize the satisfaction level of the personnel and the areas of future improvement is, undoubtedly, that of dealing with the market.
The analysis and the satisfaction of the employees
Telcom, in compliance with standard SA 8000, has decided to detect the working environment, the sense of belonging, the level of participation and the satisfaction of those working in the organization and in order to do that it submits periodically specific questionnaires to corporate people. The investigations carried out allow knowing, based on the feedback received; the perception the employee has of the various decisions/ provisions/actions, concerning him/her, taken by the company.
Definition of the equal opportunities in training and development activities
The equality of opportunities is a vital element of the human resources management and it must be a guiding principle for all those inside the organization. All the employees, regardless of age, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, marital status or position need to be able to grow inside the company equally and under the same possibilities: thanks to this awareness, we can continue to be among the most reliable producers of polyethylene and polypropylene manufactures.
This means that:
- All the employees, regardless of number of hours worked, position, workplace have equal possibilities to attend important training and development activities, provided that these are aligned with Telcom vision
- each employee receives for his/her manager, that identifies his/her training needs, an assessment on an annual basis of his/her performances and development.
- when planning training operations, the Company shall be able to use the right flexibility, comprehension and awareness of the personal situations of each employee
- the training and development needs are planned, implemented and assessed in compliance with a national training plan that is aligned with the organization goals
